I feel so glad for being involved. It took me a lot of time to understand it and rewrote most of the software. Even the architecture has been refactored. The back-end is?a daemon Windows service. Web services wrap up the Windows service, and provide interfaces for ASP.NET/AJAX. Lately, I added a proxy layer to reduce the network I/O as much as possible. The proxy layer also caches thumbnail/HTMl/Javascript to further speed up everything.
